About the Company

Gruppo Vender (Italy) established Italinox Group to expand their business activities in Central Europe.

At the beginning of 1992, Italinox Prague was founded, followed by Italinox Slovakia in 1993, Italinox Polska, Italinox Hungária and then other Italinox companies throughout Eastern Europe. In 1997, the first Service Centre in Central Europe was opened near Prague (Říčany/Jažlovice), operated by EURINOX spol. s.r.o. s.r.o.

The sale of stainless-steel materials in the Czech Republic began to develop rapidly in the early 1990s, when both existing and newly established industrial enterprises had to respond quickly to the changing domestic market requirements and to the new requirements of foreign investors. This new situation led to the establishment of Italinox, a company based in Prague, at the beginning of 1992. In 1993, the company was reorganised, another sales centre was established in Blučina near Brno,

followed by Italinox Slovakia, which also uses the service centre’s services. In the following years, Italinox position in the stainless-steel distribution network became so strong that in 1997, the company moved its headquarters to a newly built service and sales facility in the industrial area of Říčany-Jažlovice. The construction of a new sales area in Popůvky near Brno (replacing the centre in Blučina) and the opening of another sales point in the Industrial Centre in Ostrava-Kunčičky

contributed to further deepening and improving the supplier-customer relationship, both in the range of offered stainless-steel materials and service. The basis of the company’s success has been close cooperation with the Acciai Vender production and sales centre in Italy from the very beginning, as well as direct contacts with European and international steel makers.
